DMCA and Copyright Policy

This page explains how to report alleged copyright infringement and how to submit a counter notice. We follow a notice-and-takedown process modeled on the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). The steps below help us review claims efficiently and fairly.

Note: This page is for copyright matters only. For other issues, contact support.

  • Identify content actually hosted or displayed by our store. We cannot remove content that is not on our website or systems.
  • Use accurate, specific URLs and include enough detail for us to locate the material.

What We Do After Receiving a Notice

Stage Action Typical timing
Acknowledge We log and review your notice. We may contact you for clarification if anything is missing. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days.
Disable or remove If the notice appears valid, we may restrict or remove the content on a temporary basis. Usually within 1–3 business days after validation.
Notify the poster We send the notice (with your contact details) to the user or party who provided the material. Promptly after action is taken.
Counter notice If we receive a proper counter notice, we will forward it to you. Upon receipt.
Potential restoration Unless you inform us that you have filed a legal action seeking a court order, we may restore the content after the applicable waiting period. Typically 10–14 business days after we forward the counter notice.

We may decline or delay action on incomplete notices.

How to Submit a Counter Notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was due to mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice containing all items below.

Required element What to include
Your contact information Full name, mailing address, email, and phone number (optional). If you represent a business, include your title.
Identify the material The content that was removed or disabled and the exact URL where it appeared before removal.
Mistake/misidentification statement A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Jurisdiction and service A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a court of competent authority and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant (or their agent).
Signature Physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for email).

We will forward your counter notice to the original complainant. If we are not informed of a court action within the applicable period, we may restore the content at our discretion.

Repeat Infringement

Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate access or related user privileges of parties determined to be repeat infringers. We may also remove content without prior notice if we reasonably believe it infringes copyrights.

Misuse and Accuracy

  • Submitting false or bad‑faith notices or counter notices may have legal consequences.
  • Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent should file a notice.
  • For trademark, privacy, or other concerns, contact us for guidance.
